Holy Etchmiadzin Mother See Condemns Large-Scale Military Operations by Azerbaijan in Artsakh and Calls for an End to Genocidal Actions

Yerevan-Armenia: The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church has issued a statement condemning Azerbaijan’s large-scale military operation in Artsakh. In the statement, the Mother See also calls upon all international organizations to respond to Azerbaijan’s genocidal actions.

Full Statement:

With deep concern, we were informeed that Azerbaijan has launched large-scale military operations against Artsakh under the false pretext of “anti-terrorist operation”, shelling the peaceful settlements of Artsakh, targeting the capital Stepanakert.

We strongly condemn this next hostile action of Azerbaijan and call on all international structures to restrain the authorities of Azerbaijan and adequately respond to the genocidal actions of Azerbaijan.
