basilica.ro Basilica News and OCP News Service – 18/02/2025 Bucharest-Romania: In the consecration ceremony held at the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest on February 16,2025 , Archimandrite Nectarie Clinic was ordained as the new Assistant Bishop of the Chișinău Archdiocese. The ordination, presided over by Patriarch Daniel of Romania, Metropolitan Petru of Bessarabia, and other Romanian hierarchs, coincided with the centennial celebrations of both the Romanian Patriarchate and the Metropolis of Bessarabia. The newly ordained Bishop Nectarie was elected by the Holy Synod on February 05,2025, filling a vacancy that existed since 2018 when Bishop Antonie became Bishop of Bălți.
