Bishop Jerotej Enthroned as Bishop of Sabac

Belgrade-Serbia: Bishop Jerotej, bishop-elect of Sabac was enthroned as bishop of Sabac on September 18, 2022, which was led by Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia in the Cathedral of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Šabac. The liturgy and enthronement services were attended by members of the Serbian holy synod, clergy, and faithful. The diocese seat became vacant due to the death of Bishop Lavrentije of Sabac in January 2022. His Eminence Metropolitan Pimen of Europe of the Macedonian Orthodox Church and His Eminence Luke of Zaporozhye of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church also attended the liturgy and enthronement service.

Bishop Jerotej was consecrated as bishop on the 4th of July 2021 by Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia as the Bishop of Toplica and the Vicar Bishop of the Serbian Patriarch, at the Memorial Cathedral of Saint Sava.
