Serbian and Macedonian Church Leaders Meet in Belgrade, Discuss Orthodox Unity

Belgrade-Serbia: Archbishop Stefan of Ohrid, head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archdiocese, recently concluded a two-day visit to Belgrade, Serbia. The visit, at the invitation of Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia, coincided with the third anniversary of the Patriarch’s enthronement.
Archbishop Stefan was accompanied by members of his Holy Synod and warmly received by Bishop Irinej of Bačka and Archimandrite Nektarije (Đurić) of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Discussions centered on current issues within the Orthodox world, with an emphasis on strengthening unity and solidarity among Orthodox communities.
