Patriarch Porfirije and Archbishops Meet with President Vučić of Serbia

Belgrade-Serbia: On May 17, 2024, the President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić, hosted a festive reception and lunch for His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, and members of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church.

The ceremonial lunch was also attended by the President of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Milorad Dodik, along with the closest associates of the President of Serbia. This event highlighted the strong relationship between the Serbian government and the Orthodox Church, emphasizing their shared commitment to the nation’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
