Metropolitan Antonios Saad Enthroned as Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of Bosra, Hauran and Jabal Al-Arab

As Suwayda – Syria: Metropolitan Antonios Saad was enthroned as the Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of Bosra, Hauran and Jabal Al-Arab (Syria) on December 22,2023 at St. George’s Cathedral As-Suwayda.
The enthronement was attended by several metropolitans of the Holy Synod of Antioch, clergy, and faithful of the archdiocese, as well as local religious and civil dignitaries.
Metropolitan Antonios Saad was consecrated as metropolitan by His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch at the Church of the Dormition in Balamand Monastery, Lebanon on December 16,2023.
Metropolitan Antonios Saad succeeded Metropolitan Saba who was elected as hierarch of North American diocese. Metropolitan Antonios was elected as metropolitan of Archdiocese of Bosra, Hauran and Jabal Al-Arab by the Holy Synod on October 20,2023.
