Archimandrite Antonios Saad Consecrated as Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of Bosra, Hauran and Jabal Al-Arab in Syria

Balamand- Lebanon: His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch consecrated Archimandrite Antonios Saad as Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of Bosra, Hauran and Jabal Al-Arab (Syria) at the Church of the Dormition in Balamand Monastery, Lebanon on December 16,2023.

The consecration ceremony was attended by members of the Holy Synod, clergy, and the faithful of the archdiocese, as well as local religious and civil dignitaries.

Metropolitan Antonios Saad succeeded Metropolitan Saba who was elected as hierarch of North American diocese.  Metropolitan Antonios was elected as metropolitan of Archdiocese of Bosra, Hauran and Jabal Al-Arab  by the Holy Synod on October 20,2023.
