Malankara Orthodox Church Monastic Delegation Featured on Russian State TV

Moscow- Russia: Members of the monastic delegation from the Malankara Orthodox Church, Sister Dina and Sister Sheba from Bethlehem Convent, were featured on the Russian state television channel Vesti Yaroslavia (Вести – Ярославль) on December 7, 2023.

Malankara Orthodox Monastic Delegation Commenced Russian Visit

The project is part of the initiatives of the Working Group on the development of bilateral relations between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Malankara Orthodox Church of India. With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’, the delegation is residing for two months at the Holy Vvedensky Tolga Convent of the Yaroslavl Metropolis.

The purpose of this visit is to study the monastic experience of the Russian Orthodox Church and explore its potential application in Indian monasteries.
