Tallinn- Estonia: The Estonian Postal Service unveiled a postal stamp to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of granting autonomy to the Orthodox Church of Estonia. The stamp was officially presented during a ceremony held at the Tallinn Opera House on September 14, 2023. In attendance were His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Metropolitan Stefanus of Tallinn and all of Estonia.

According to the official statement:

Mr. Mart Mägi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Omniva, the Estonian Postal Service, presented special commemorative first-day editions of the stamps to the Ecumenical Patriarch and the Primate of the Church of Estonia.

The stamp series includes four stamps, featuring His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, who played a crucial role in the re-establishment of the Autonomous Church of Estonia in 1996, as well as Metropolitan Stefanos, the current Primate of the local Church. The other two stamps commemorate the venerable Ecumenical Patriarch Meletios XIV (Metaxakis), who granted Autonomous status in 1923, and the first Primate of the Church of Estonia, the blessed Metropolitan Alexander.

The event was attended by hierarchs, clergy, and Mart Laar, former Prime Minister of Estonia, who had a brief in-person meeting with the Patriarch, along with other dignitaries.
