Budapest-Hungary: His Holiness Pope Tawadros II visited the Metropolitan Hilarion of Budapest and Hungary on August 19, 2023. The visit was made during the papal visit of Pope Tawadros II to Hungary.

During the meeting, the discussion revolved around the pastoral service and its role in building the human being. At the end of the meeting, Bishop Hilarion presented a copy of his book on the Sermon on the Mount, as a gift to His Holiness the Pope

This visit comes, at the invitation of the Hungarian government to His Holiness, on the occasion of the country’s national holiday.
