Archbishop Mor Anthimos of Jerusalem Visited Primates of Orthodox Churches in Jerusalem

Holy Land- Jerusalem: Newly appointed patriarchal vicar of Jersusalem & Holy Lands Archdiocese, Archbishop Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub visited primates and hierarchs of Orthodox Churches in Holy Land, Jerusalem. This was done as part of the temporary takeover of the Archbishopric of Jerusalem due to the demise of Archbishop Gabriel Dahho on July 21, 2022.
Archbishop Mor Anthimos Appointed as the Patriarchal Vicar of Jerusalem & Holy Lands
On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, Archbishop Mor Anthimos visited the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos. This discussion went on a range of issues including pilgrimage, the situation of Christians in Jerusalem, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq, and the need of helping and supporting once who are suffering. Patriarch Theophilos also offered gifts and souvenirs to the Archbishop.
On Monday, August 29, 2022, His Beatitude Archbishop Nourhan Manougian received Archbishop Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub. According to the Armenian Patriarchate, the cordial meeting discussed many issues and subjects.
On Sunday, August 28, 2022, His Eminence Anba Anthony, Bishop of the Jerusalem See and the Near East received Archbishop Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub in the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem. Archbishop Mor Anthimos offers condolence to the demised in recent fire accident at the church of Martyr Abi Sefein in Imbaba. This was the second meeting between both the hierarchs after August 23, 2022, when Archbishop received Anba Anthony and the Coptic delegation at Patriarchate Hall in Deir Mar Marques in Jerusalem.
