Bijeljina – Bosnia & Herzegovina: ‘Where there is a Church, there is also our people, and where there is no Church, sooner or later, the people also die’, said the Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia at the central event in Bijeljina On September 15, the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag. Serbian Patriarch pointed out the relevance of unity among the people and the role of the Serbian Orthodox Church and Orthodox faith in keeping the unity. 

The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vučić, the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Milorad Dodik, and the President of Republika Srpska, Ms. Željka Cvijanović. The celebration had a huge number of participants from different parts of the country.
