Turkish Aid Agency, Kfeir Greek Orthodox Foundation Cooperate in the Reopening of a Historical Orthodox Church in Lebanon
#Lebanon– The Turkish state-run aid agency supported the renovation and reopening of an Orthodox church in southern Lebanon.

Beirut-Lebanon: The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), the state owned aid agency in association with Kfeir Greek Orthodox Church Foundation has supported the renovation and reopening of a 175 years old Orthodox Church in the village of El-Kfeir (Nabatiyeh governorate), Southern Lebanon.
TIKA provided financial aid to renovate the naïve of the Church, its roof and provided air condition inside the Church building. According to TIKA officials, they have cooperated with the Greek Orthodox foundation as the latter was struggling to raise funds.
The Turkish Ambassador to Beirut, Mayor of the village and officials from TIKA attended the reopening ceremony held on 12/6/22.
