Mumbai – India: On November 16 and 17, 2024, a significant gathering of religious leaders and scholars will convene virtually to discuss themes central to Oriental Orthodoxy and Christian unity. This event, part of the Fr. Dr. V.C. Samuel Memorial International Seminar 2024 organized by the De’thri Foundation, will bring together key voices from the Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox communities, offering a platform for in-depth discussions on faith, unity, and theological understanding.

One of the highlights of the event is the presence of His Eminence Bishop Kirill, Metropolitan and Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, representing the Russian Orthodox Church. His participation underscores the commitment to fostering closer ties between the Oriental Orthodox and Russian Orthodox traditions. Bishop Kirill will join prominent Oriental Orthodox figures, including Rev. Fr. Dr. K.L. Mathew Vaidyan and Fr. With leaders from diverse Orthodox traditions participating, the event promises to be a milestone in promoting mutual respect and unity among Orthodox Christians worldwide. Interested participants are encouraged to join the discussions on Zoom, engage with renowned speakers, and witness a shared commitment to strengthening bonds across the Christian faith.

For those seeking to understand and contribute to the evolving dialogue within Orthodox Christianity, this event represents a unique opportunity to engage with key theological discussions and the vision of an autonomous Orthodox Church.
