Pope Tawadros II Begins his Visit to Austria

Vienna – Austria: His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria began his Patriarchal visit to Austria on 14 July 2022. He was received by H.G. Bishop Gabriel of Austria with Ambassador Mohamed El-Mulla, other officials, and faithfully.
On the first day of the visit, Pope met with Priest and their families. On 15 July 2022 Pope Tawadros lead the consecration of the Church of St. Macarius the Great in the St. Anthony Monastery in Ober-Siebenbrunn and two alters in the name of St. Anne and Saints Barbara and Juliana in St. Anne’s Convent in Schönefeld. His Eminence Bishop Gabriel of Austria, His Grace Bishop Marcos of Damietta, Kafr El-Sheikh and Al-Barari, His Grace Bishop Tiran Petrosyan – Pontifical Legate of Central Europe and Sweden of the Armenian church, and delegate from Syriac Orthodox Church took part in the consecration.
