Patriarch Abune Mathias of Ethiopia Recovers From Covid-19

Addis Ababa – Ethiopia: Patriarch Abune Mathias of Ethiopia has recovered from Covid and has returned to the Patriarchal Palace on 21 January 2022. The primate has resumed his spiritual and administrative duties as well. He spent almost a week in hospital in the capital city after he was diagnosed with covid-19.

The Patriarch will also attend the funeral ceremony of the late Archbishop Abune Michael of Illubabor at the St Mary’s Monastery of the Ethiopian Patriarchate (scheduled on 23/1/2022).
