Over Nineteen Thousand People Benefited from the “Meal of Joy” Program of the Romanian Patriarchate in 2021

Bucharest-Romania: Over nineteen thousand people (19,824 ) benefited from the “Meal of Joy” Program of the Romanian Patriarchate, according to a recent report published by Basilica News Agency. The program is organized under the auspicious of the Social-Philanthropic Sector of the Romanian Patriarchate and it amassed 3,140,866 lei (635,121 Euro) during 2021..

Nearly two hundred and twenty-two social and philanthropic organizations benefited from the program. The number of beneficiaries keeps increasing over the years. In a recent meeting, the members of the Holy Synod were in full appreciation of the success of the program.
