Global: Amid growing global challenges such as domestic violence, forced displacement, and interwoven crises, a new organization dedicated to creating meaningful change has been officially named: the Institute of Domestic Violence, Religion & Migration (IDVRM).
The IDVRM represents a bold and timely response to the needs of religious, migrant, and ethnic minority communities facing domestic violence and other interconnected forms of violence. With its launch, the Institute aims to bridge gaps in research, intervention, and policy-making to deliver culturally informed, faith-aware, and evidence-based solutions.
Why IDVRM?
The Institute’s name reflects its commitment to addressing the root causes and impacts of domestic violence while recognizing the complex interplay of migration, religion, and ethnicity in these issues. The name embodies the Institute’s dedication to inclusivity, collaboration, and global outreach.
Key Features of IDVRM:
- A mission to develop robust, scalable, and innovative approaches to tackling domestic violence.
