More than 900 People Baptized in Doba-Shallo by the Mahibere Kidusan Apostolic Mission

Addis Ababa- Ethiopia: Around 925 people joined the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in Doba-Shallo Kebele of Kefa diocese in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region (SNNPR),  through the efforts of the apostolic mission of Mahibere Kidusan (MK), a large spiritual organization under the Ethiopian Orthodox Church Sunday school department.

MK will also facilitate the apostolic mission in the region to strengthen Orthodox Christian spiritual life and build a new parish church in the name of Theotokos with the financial support from the MK-USA center and believers in Washington DC.

As of now, the MK funded more than 735,000 birrs (around $14,764) for building the parish, providing service tools, employing clergy and for purchase of related logistics.
