Moldovan Orthodox Church Extends Support to Ukrainian Refugees

Chisinau – Moldova: The Social institutions of the Moldovan Metropolitan Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) has reached out to the refugees form Ukrainian who are crossing the border for safe zones. Around 1500 portions of hot food, fruits, sweets, water, juices, pastries, blankets were supplied to a large number for people on the 1st of March 2022. Basic necessities are provided to families as well.
The volunteers of the Moldovan Church also provide moral and psychological support to the refugees. Several parishes and social institutions of the Church has come forward to help to Ukrainian citizens fleeing their nation.
