Metropolitan Onuphry of UOC Sends Greetings to Newly Elected First Hierarch of ROCOR

Kyiv – Ukraine: His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine sends greetings to the newly elected First Hierarch of ROCOR (Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia) His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan on 16th September 2022. In the letter to Bishop Nicholas, Metropolitan Onuphry congratulated him on his selection as the First Hierarch and expressed hope to maintain a good relationship between both churches filled with the spirit of friendship, good cooperation, and Christian love.

Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan was elected as the first hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR)

The enthronement services of the newly elected first hierarch will take place on the 17th and 18th of September at the Synodal Cathedral of Our Lady of the Sign in New York.

The Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church officially recognized the selection of Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan as the First Hierarch of ROCOR
