Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia 1/9/2012 On the feast day of the Dormition of the Most-Holy Mother of God, August 28, 2012, His Eminence Metropolitan Ilarion of Volokolamsk, President of the Department of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, gave His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia the Medal of St Sergius of Radonezh, Second Level. Vladyka Kyrill merited this honor in view of his earnest labors for the good of the Church and his work in preparing the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the founding of Fort Ross
