Athens- Greece: Ioannis Sarmas was sworn in as Interim Prime Minister of Greece by HB Ieronymos II of Athens and All Greece on May 25, 2023. The swearing ceremony was held in the presence of President Katerina Sakellaropoulou. Ioannis Sarmas is expected to serve until the formation of the new government after the elections in June.

The Prime Minister of Greece is usually sworn in through a ceremony led by the Archbishop of Athens.
