Georgian Church Hierarchs Convene to Address Drug Use, Family Support Issues

Tbilisi -Georgia: His Holiness Ilia II, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia held a meeting with hierarchs on February 20 at the Patriarchate to discuss pressing social issues. The meeting focused on concerning trends of rising drug use, particularly among younger demographics, and the challenges of enforcing regulations around club drugs and gambling.
The discussion highlighted the growing impact of these issues on families and communities, prompting calls for effective action from the Church. Participants expressed their commitment to working collaboratively to address these concerns.
