Catholicosate of Cilicia Calls for Unity and Peace in Armenia

Antelias – Lebanon: The Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia is closely monitoring developments in Armenia, according to a statement issued on May 28.2024. His Holiness the Catholicos has emphasized the importance of maintaining Armenia’s independence, territorial integrity, and security.

The Catholicos called on Armenians to overcome challenges “with unbreakable unity and unanimity” while urging those protesting to remain peaceful and lawful. The statement also condemned the use of excessive force by police and called for respect for human rights.

The Catholicosate concluded by expressing hope for God’s protection over Armenia and its people.
