Catholicos Aram I and Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II Foster Unity in Antelias Summit

Antelias – Lebanon: On January 18, 2024, a meeting took place in Antelias between His Holiness Catholicos Aram I and His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East.
Accompanying Moran Mor Aphram II were His Eminence Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Archbishop of Beirut, and Very Rev. Raban Dr. Joseph Bali Archbishop, Patriarchal Secretary. His Holiness Aram I was joined by His Eminence Archbishop Gomidas Ohanian, Grand Sacristan of the Cathedral, and His Eminence Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian, Director of the “Cilicia” Library.
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the collaboration between the two churches, ecumenical gatherings and events, and the ongoing challenges in the Middle East.
Following the meeting, His Holiness Aram I hosted the Patriarch and all attendees for a luncheon.
