Bishop Hovakim Manukyan Visited Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira

Britain – United Kingdom: His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, the Primate of the Diocese of the United Kingdom and Ireland met His Eminence Metropolitan Nikitas, Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain, and the President of the Conference of European Churches, at the Greek Orthodox Archdiocesan headquarters on July 21, 2023.

Bishop Hovakim passed the invitation of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, to His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas to visit the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on the occasion of the blessing of Holy Muron, which will take place on October 1st, 2023. They discussed pastoral questions and also challenges that Armenians are facing in Artsakh.

Very Rev. Fr. Garegin Hambardzumian joined the meeting as the representative of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in the Governing Board of the Conference of European Churches.
