Jerusalem-Holy Land: In a statement released on May 29,2024, Nurhan Archbishop Manukian, the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, expressed deep concern and condemned the actions of the Armenian police following a reported incident on May 28, 2024.

Manukian criticizes the Armenian police for allegedly failing to ensure the safety of Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians, during a procession to the Sardarapat Memorial.
