Kinshasa– DRC: Archimidrite Athanasios Kayebe Consecrated as the Bishop of Benin, Togo and Burkina Faso at Kinshasa on March 31,2024. Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria led the consecration.

Archimidrite Athanasios Kayebe was elected by the Synod of the Greek Orthodox Church of Alexandria on February 15, 2024.

Consecration was attend by the synodal members, diplomatic representatives with clergy and faithful.
