Bagdad- Iraq: Archimandrite (Oshakan Kulkolian) has been elected as the new spiritual head of the Armenian Orthodox community in Iraq on 13th May 2022.

The Armenian Diocese of Iraq falls under the jurisdiction of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin which has at least 10 functioning churches.
