A New Coptic Orthodox Church Inaugurated in El-Salam City (Cairo)

Cairo- Egypt: A new Coptic Orthodox Church (Church of the Virgin and Saint Mary of Egypt) was inaugurated in El-Salam City of Cairo on the 5th of February 2022 by Pope Tawardos II of Alexandria (Primate of the Coptic Church).

The new Church is constructed in Ahalina 2 Residential Project as a result of the instruction from President El-Sisi. The new building is part of the Presidental plan to build a church in every urban residential community.
