Belgrade-Serbia: A prominent international scientific conference explored the history and significance of the Holy Trinity Church in Belgrade on November 15,2024. The event, held at the Serbian Chamber in the heart of the city, marked the 100th anniversary of the Russian Orthodox Church’s temple.

High-Level Attendance

The conference boasted a distinguished guest list. Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, led the official delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church. Greetings were also delivered by representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Serbian government, and the Russian Embassy.

Focus on Shared History

Titled “100 Years of the Holy Trinity Church of the Russian Orthodox Church and Its Relations with the Serbian Orthodox Church,” the conference served as a platform for renowned scholars from Serbia, Russia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
