Reaffirming Ukraine’s Right to Self-Defense

The exchange highlighted the importance of maintaining strong inter-church relations, especially during a period of regional conflict.
Strengthening Faith in Turbulent Times
Metropolitan Tikhon commended the Banchen Monastery’s vibrant spiritual life and social service, emphasizing how these acts embody the enduring strength of the Orthodox faith. He stressed that faith is not a relic of the past but a vital force offering solace and guidance in the present.
A Visit of Solidarity and Continued Support
Metropolitan Tikhon’s visit to Ukraine began on June 1st in Chernivtsi and will include visits to several other religious sites. This trip serves as a powerful symbol of international Orthodox support for the Ukrainian Church and its people as they navigate the ongoing war.
