Kyiv – Ukraine: Discriminatory decision of Sosnivskyi District Court of the city of Cherkasy extended 24 hours house arrest of Metropolitan Feodosiy of Cherkasy and Kaniv, the administrator of the Cherkasy Diocese until  September 21, 2023. Metropolitan Feodosiy is in house arrest since April 12, 2023, as a pre-trial restriction.

Metropolitan Feodosiy of Cherkasy and Kaniv was charged with inciting interfaith hatred and justification, recognition of lawfulness, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, and glorification of its participants.
