Archimandrite Panaretos Consecrated as Bishop Nyeri and Mount Kenya

Egypt: Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa consecrated Archimandrite Panaretos as bishop of Nyeri and Mount Kenya on January 15, 2023, at the Holy Patriarchal Monastery of Saint Savva the Sanctified of Alexandria.

The consecration was attended by Metropolitan Isaiah of Tamassos and Oreini – Cyprus and members of the holy synod.

Bishop Panaretos was elected by the holy synod on November 24, 2022. Bishop Panaretos was born in 1985 in Gikuni, Kikuyu Kiambu Province in Kenya.
