Uncanonicity Continues in Axum, Tigray, Ethiopia

Addis Ababa- On Sunday, 26 November 2023, the denounced “Menbere Selama Synod” of Tigray and its excommunicated members “appointed” another anathematized monk, Sereqe Brihan, as “Abba Selama” in the Church of Axum Zion after the prayer of the eskeem took place.

The anathematized monk was “ordained” as a “Bishop” for Australia, New Zealand, and all its surroundings. The excommunicated monk had previously traveled from Australia to be ordained but was denied admission into Ethiopia at Addis Ababa Airport. Nonetheless, for unknown reasons, he was permitted entry into the country this time, which made his uncanonical ordination possible.
