Patriarchs of Antioch and Archbishop of Albania Emphasize Unity and Dialogue

Damascus – Syria: His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East has called for the Church to offer a message of comfort and truth to a world troubled by conflict and challenges. The Patriarch made this statement during a phone call with His Beatitude Archbishop Anastasius of Tirana and All Albania.
The two prelates discussed the fraternal relations between the Antiochian and Albanian Orthodox Churches. They emphasized the importance of both Churches in promoting dialogue, tolerance, and understanding in their respective societies.
Patriarch John X highlighted the need for the Church to preserve its identity and faith while engaging with the world in a reasoned and wise manner. He stressed that the Church’s voice is essential in offering guidance and hope to a world in need.
