Patriarchate of Georgia Endorses Law Protecting Traditional Family Values Against LGBTQ Propaganda

Tbilisi -Georgia: The Patriarchate of Georgia has issued a statement in support of the recently enacted law “On Family Values ​​and Protection of Minors.” The law aims to safeguard traditional family structures and protect minors from ideologies that undermine them.

In the statement, the Patriarchate emphasized the importance of protecting family values in the face of growing challenges, particularly in the context of LGBTQI propaganda. The Church has been vocal in its opposition to this type of content, arguing that it undermines the traditional family unit.

The Patriarchate also praised the government for taking decisive action to address this issue through the new law. It expressed hope that the law would bring positive results for Georgian society and help to preserve the nation’s traditional values.
