Patriarch Theophilos III Awarded Kazakhstan’s First Order of Peace

Jerusalem-Holy Land: His Beatitude Theophilos III, Patriarch of Jerusalem, has been awarded the First Order of Peace of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The prestigious honor was bestowed upon the Patriarch by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel, His Excellency Mr. Daulet Yemberdiyev, during a recent visit to the Patriarchate.

The award recognizes the Patriarchate’s significant contributions to interreligious dialogue, cultural exchange, and peacebuilding efforts. His Beatitude’s dedication to fostering understanding and harmony among different faiths has been instrumental in promoting peace and stability in the region.

In addition to the medal, Ambassador Yemberdiyev presented His Beatitude with a traditional Kazakh amphora as a token of friendship and appreciation.
