Patriarch Kirill of Russia Congratulated Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw on his 25th Anniversary of Enthronement

Moscow – Russia: His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan  Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland on the 25th anniversary of enthronement on 31st May 2023.

In the letter, Patriarch congratulated Metropolitan Sawa on one of his important milestones. Patirarich also mentioned that:

“For a quarter of a century now, you have been carrying with honor and dignity the difficult cross of care for the fullness of the Church, placed on your shoulders, producing abundant thanksgiving to God in many (2 Cor. 9, 12) and glorifying His name with your selfless labors.

Having earned high authority as one of the oldest primates in the family of Local Orthodox Churches, with boldness and spiritual courage you call on your contemporaries to observe the sacred canons in inter-church relations and boldly raise your voice in defense of those persecuted for the truth of God.

Joining in the celebration of Your Beatitude, I sincerely pray to the Merciful Lord that He may send you all joy and peace in faith (Rom. 15:13), strengthen your bodily strength, and advance in the fulfillment of all plans and new accomplishments for the good of your beloved flock”.
