Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch Visits Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Hama

Hamma-Damascus-Syria: Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II of Antioch and the primate of the Syriac Orthodox Church and high level delegation visited Greek Orthodox Metropolitan Nicolas Baalbaki of Hama on the 17th of October 2021.

Metropolitan Nicolas Baalbaki made a briefing on the history of the Greek Archdiocese and also on the presence of Christian community in the region. In response, Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem highlighted the warm relations between the Syriac Church and the Antiochian Greek Church and also thanked the Metropolitan for the warm reception.
