Moscow – Russia: Metropolitan Yuvenaly  (Poyarkov) was Awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland – 1st Class by President Vladimir Putin on December 20, 2022, in Catherine’s Hall of the Kremlin.

The Order of Merit for the Fatherland – 1st Class was awarded for ” great contribution to the development of spiritual and cultural traditions, the strengthening of peace and harmony between peoples”.

The award to Metropolitan Yuvenaly  (Poyarkov) was announced on September 21, 2020. After 56 years of service in different dioceses, Metropolitan Yuvenaly retired on April 21, 2021.
