Bulgarian Patriarch Meets with Austrian Ambassador

Sofia – Bulgaria: On January 21, His Holiness Patriarch Daniil of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church visited the Austrian Embassy in Sofia at the invitation of the Austrian Ambassador.

The meeting, which was attended by a delegation from the Patriarchate, focused on the common religious foundations of Christianity and fostered a constructive dialogue with mutual respect for differences.

Ambassador Ikic-Böhm emphasized the importance of inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue for Austria.

Both sides expressed their desire for peace and wished each other God’s blessing for the new year. The meeting was deemed successful, with both parties emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue.
