Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil Meets Palestinian Ambassador

Sofia – Bulgaria: Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil welcomed the Palestinian Ambassador to Bulgaria, H.E. Dr. Nasri Abu Jaysh, at the Sofia Holy Metropolis. The meeting, held on March 18, was also attended by Bishop Gerasim of Melnik, Secretary General of the Holy Synod.

Patriarch Daniil emphasized the Bulgarian Orthodox Church’s prayers for peace in the Holy Land and an end to violence. Discussions focused on Palestine’s humanitarian crisis, particularly in Gaza.

Ambassador Jaysh expressed hope for Patriarch Daniil’s future visit to the Holy Land and reaffirmed the strong ties between Bulgaria and Palestine.
