Archimandrite Sergius (Zaychikov) Consecrated as the Bishop of Alapaevsk and Irbit

Moscow- Russia: Archimandrite Sergius (Zaychikov) was consecrated as Bishop of Alapaevsk and Irbit at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow on December 2, 2024. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia led the consecration, assisted by members of the Holy Synod.

Archimandrite Sergius (Zaychikov) was elected by the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on October 24,2024.

Bishop Sergius (Zaychikov) of Alapaevsk and Irbit was born on August 2, 1985 in Zemetchino, Penza Region.
