Archimandrite Mikhail (Malakhanov) Consecrated as the Bishop of Yugra and Nyagan

Moscow- Russia: Archimandrite Mikhail (Malakhanov) was consecrated as the Bishop of Yugra and Nyagan at the Patriarchal Dormition Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin on September 06,2024. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ led the consecration with members of Holy Synod.

Archimandrite Mikhail (Malakhanov) was elected by the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on July 25,2024.

Bishop Mikhail (Malakhanov) of Yugra and Nyagan was born on November 24, 1973 in Snezhnoye, Donetsk region.
