Archimandrite Methodius (Zinkovsky) Consecrated as the Vicar of His Holiness the Patriarch and Bishop of Yegoryevsk

Moscow- Russia: Archimandrite Methodius (Zinkovsky) was consecrated as the Vicar of His Holiness the Patriarch and Bishop of Yegoryevsk at the Patriarchal Dormition Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin on July 16,2024. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ led the consecration with members of Holy Synod.

Archimandrite Methodius (Zinkovsky) was elected by the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on May 30,2024.

Bishop Methodius (Zinkovsky) of Yegoryevsk was born on July 29, 1969 in Leningrad. His identical twin Bishop Kirill of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov was consecrated as bishop in September 2022.
