Moscow- Russia: Archimandrite Anthony (Podorovsky) was consecrated as Bishop of Syzran and Shigonsk at the Christ the Savior Cathedral in Moscow. on February 15, 2025. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia led the consecration, assisted by members of the Holy Synod.

Archimandrite Anthony (Podorovsky) was elected by the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church on December 27, 2024.

Bishop Archimandrite Anthony (Podorovsky) of Syzran and Shigonsk was born on on July 13, 1984 in Tashkent.
