Archbishop Aksiy of Podolsk Meets with Armenian Catholicos Garegin II

Yerevan-Armenia:  Archbishop Aksiy of Podolsk and Lyubertsy, the temporary administrator of the Yerevan-Armenian Diocese, held a meeting with His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos and Supreme Patriarch of All Armenians, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on May 12, 2025. The Secretary of the Podolsk diocesan administration, Priest Konstantin Semenov, also attended the meeting.

During their discussion, Archbishop Aksiy and Catholicos Garegin II explored plans for future cooperation in the spiritual sphere. They also addressed other matters of mutual interest concerning the relationship between representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Armenian Apostolic Church.
