Greek and Armenian Patriarchs in Jerusalem Continue Easter Visit Tradition

Jerusalem-Holy Land: In a demonstration of continued inter-patriarchal harmony, His Beatitude Theophilos III, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, and His Beatitude Patriarch Nourhan Manougian of the Armenian Patriarchate exchanged formal Easter visits in Jerusalem following the Paschal celebrations.

On Bright Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Bishop Guregh led a delegation from the Armenian Patriarchate to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate to convey Easter greetings to Patriarch Theophilos III and the Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood. The visit was reciprocated on Friday, April 25, 2025, when Patriarch Theophilos III and his entourage visited the Armenian Patriarchate, where they were warmly received by Patriarch Nourhan Manougian and the Armenian Brotherhood. The traditional exchange of Easter addresses and festive refreshments marked these fraternal encounters in the Holy City.
